The purpose of the JROTC class is to teach students leadership skills that are essential in life after high school. The cadets will discover what their learning style is and how to apply it to their daily life.
Also in the JROTC Program cadets are given the opportunity to earn ranks, medals, and awards that will allow them to gain honor, respect, and exercise responsibility.
The Jesse H. Jones JROTC also works rigorously within the community in various events. Each year cadets are given the opportunity to earn over 100 community service hours participating in the following:
